Max tire size for spare tire carrier?
 

Guys will a 33" tire fit on the factory spare tire carrier bolted behind the seat in these Blazers?

I think a 31 is about as big as you can put in there.

Jeff - I can try to check some measurements on mine. Prob won't have time to unbolt the spare from the swing away and try it in the OEM carrier until the K5 (and myself) are up in Montana (Kalispell) in just about three weeks....

I appreciate the input from everyone. I am debating about buying a 5th tire. I'm going with 33 x 10.5 BFG's and I wasn't going to bother with the spare if it wouldn't fit the factory mount. This is a gathering info thread. Just starting tear down so tire purchase won't be until the winter.

Thank. Yup, Hugger orange. My spare tire rack is the one ith the single hole with welded bolt and had to bend a threaded rod upward to fit and attach the taller tire

So modified for height but clearance to bed side to the left was ok?
