Re: cab light help
The wiring runs from the lights and goes down the drivers side A pillar and the wire comes out under the dash pad I believe.

Re: cab light help
Probably wired into the parking lights.

Re: cab light help
I would start with the light switch on the door pillar. Loosen/tighten the nut a little while holding the center pin. Wiggle pin. These switches are not very reliable. I have aftermarket door weatherstripping which hangs up the pin and prevents the lights from going on. If you loosen the nut all the way while holding the pin you can remove the switch. It has very thin leads, so be careful. When you reinstall the switch, make sure that the pin is not turning while you tighten the nuts or the leads will get twisted inside the pillar and break. New switches are available at any auto parts store for a few dollars.

have a look at the headlight switch,I believe had a plug in there
ground to the bus bar @ebrake would be stock |
Re: cab light help
I would bet it is the ground, I know the ones I installed on my truck, each lamp is grounded by a screw holding the lens in place. I would make sure you have a good ground, if the rest of your parking lights are working then it is a ground issue or not hooked up.

Re: cab light help
my 1990 has one ground wire for all the lights. and a mouse chewed through the wires up top in the roof. I had to fish the wire from the kick panel up to the roof through the A pillar.
