2004 extended cab daily
I needed some more room so I figured id look for an extended cab and found a pretty clean one. The truck is a 2004 Silverado extended cab LT, heated leather, bose stereo, ss gauge cluster.
5.3 motor Spectra cai Pacesetter headers Z06 cam & beehive springs E fans & 34" rad 4l60e was said to be slightly rebuilt with shift kit, servos etc, yank tt3000 stall. G80/3.73s Lowered 2" in the rear Also has caltracs installed When I first got it http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps22be12e3.jpg A week later I traded the 24s for some tahoe ltz wheels http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps890f032b.jpg Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: 2004 extended cab daily
Plans are simple for now, going to lower the rear another 2" and the front 2" for a total 2/4 drop. Colormatching, demolding etc. Also ill be going with another cam as I don't care so much about the z06 cam, suggestions would be great. Thinking of maybe the sdpc ht1 cam? I'm also going to be ordering the nx proton plus nitrous kit. Any input is appreciated.
So far I've replaced the speedo stepper motor since it was faulty, installed an old set of HIDs, and hidden the antenna. I've got bright white interior and tag light leds on the way, ill also be redoing the cluster, hvac, window switches, etc with blue leds. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...pscfd50575.jpg Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 2004 extended cab daily
I really like it. As I have aged, I really appreciate the look of some "stock" wheels over what is popular from the aftermarket now.

Re: 2004 extended cab daily
Not only does the factory make awesome looking wheels theses days, but they are infinitely more durable than most of the after market stuff.

Re: 2004 extended cab daily
True that. I was looking to trade for a set of these which are my favorite factory wheel (besides older rally wheels of course ) or Silverado SS wheels.

Re: 2004 extended cab daily
Looks good. If you can scare up a painted bumper cap and door handles, that will go a long way on the outside also. The wheels are a definite improvement.
