They moved my truck and a custom motorcycle from Florida to Arizona. Pricey but they NEVER scratch anything. The driver told me he would be at my door at 6:00 AM on Thursday and he was not only there on time but he put them both in the garage!

New World, they are a broker....ask for Ray! They are even based in your part of Texas. Get a quote, say no if you don't like...they did a great job on my last move!!!

I just had my 72 K10 shipped from Ohio to Washington for $1,600 by Elite Trans Co. They are really good and would use them again. They use a 40ft flatbed open trailer and are based out of Arizona.

Able Transport in Missouri. Family owned. They moved a few cars for me from Tx to the Canada border. You can get an online quote. I paid a little over 900.00 both times.

That said, Do you have dual citizenship to help facilitate the border/import stuff?
$900 from Texas to.....Buffalo crossing? or? Detroit or?
I remember you posting that you had lived in Ontario for a stretch?

$3000.00 to move 2 vehicles 2600 miles. Seems like a lot, but that custom bike cost $60,000 and the truck is insured with Grundy for $70,000.

I'm not about to give Joe Schmuckatella's auto transport $130,000 in vehicles to go play around with. Intercity does the transportation for Mecum and Barret-Jackson. Their reputation is impeccable. Lots of guys can do it cheaper, not many do it safer, better or with the same "no damage" guarantee.

It was from Tx to the border crossing near Watertown NY. Lansdowne crossing. My wife had a work Visa but I only had a temporary residency status. I have taken some trucks across at Port Erie too but Lansdowne was closer and to me less busy. Also the United States auto export is right there and they were good guys to deal with. One was into older trucks so we spent more time talking trucks than inspections. (They only verify vin) It's really not has hard as people make it out to be as long as you have ALL your paperwork and your story is legit. I took 4 trucks across in the 3 years I lived there. Hope this helps. 2000.00 dollar truck (older than 15 years) with A/C would cost about 200.00 to import. 100 for the value and 100 because it had a/c. (whether it works or not, if it had it at anytime you will be charged the fee) Oh you pay an additional 8% when you go to register it but you pay that anyway when you buy a car up there.(Ontario) ken
