Wanted truck
 

I found a 75 C-10 on the net for $11,900. I keep on looking then I found one for $8,500. Then I noticed they were the same truck. The company that wants $11,900 is trying to sell it for the person that is trying to sell it for $8,500. I am trying to contact the owner and maybe buy it for $8.500, or less.

Beware, people take photos and descriptions from one ad, and make their own ad for less. Then they ask you to send a deposit or something similar.
We have that happen with rental property all the time. We advertise a nice house for $1,000 per month, someone takes our photos and description, makes their own ad at $600 a month, and people get pissed at us because someone is trying to scam them with our house. We are working on watermarking photos to help, but that will only make them move on to the next person.

Definitely don't send anyone anything in the mail. And anymore if i go on CL runs i take my gf or someone with me. Be VERY cautious when seeing double ads.

It had phones numbers of the two places that he consigned to sell the truck. I called them. One is trying to contact him for me.
