So here it goes....... O boy...... My 67 short bed in its better years was a coal hauling S.O.B. at least that what my uncle used it for. A 20ft box trailer and the bed of the truck fully loaded and a way he would go from Huntington down Fairview canyon and into Spanish Fork with no problems. A 292 and a 4spd with 4:11 gears will just a bout pull anything, if you know what your doing. So when I came around to getting into trucks and almost being able to drive. The 67 was just sitting out in his field waiting to be fired up once more. Surprisingly enough I fell in love with that truck and one day my uncle said " just go out in that truck and drive it ". I had no idea how to even begin to know what I was doing. But after a while of feeling and looking like an idiot I got it rolling. When I turned 15 my uncle gave that truck to me knowing that I really wanted it and knew that I had best of intentions to take care of it. As high school rolled around I got into auto body, and finally drove it to school to work on it. It was known as the PUMPKIN because of its orange paint, thats what everyone called it and as I did some body work to it, not a lot. I sprayed it primer gray and left some orange spots on it and left it at that. Then everyone called it DEAD PUMPKIN. I liked both names. And so from then on its just been sitting waiting for me to get back to work on it. 7 years later I finally get that ITCH to get back to work on it. Thanks to Mister-B lol, but none the less here it is...

Looks like you got yourself a project there. Join the club a lot of us here is doing the same thing. I took my truck all the way down to the frame. There is not a part or bolt that I have not touched, replaced or cleaned. But keep it going you will find out that you will be finshed oneday. well at least driveable. I don't thing you and the rest of us will be ever finshed with out on-going project. Always looks to inprove or up grade the truck. So good luck there man. You can score a lot of parts from the parts board. George

Thanks George. My out come for this truck is to be a reliable daily driver. To work, camping, and whatever else. Ain't gonna be no garage queen that just sits in the garage waiting to be drivin, only to car shows. I plan on every day being a car show lol. And I wont be afraid to drive it either. Don't get me wrong I love the fully tricked out trucks and to you all, you do put a lot of time and effort into your trucks but I'd rather it be drivin instead of sitttin.
