That appears to be a 1996-up Vortec 350 water pump. You don't need that.....take it off and grab yourself a water pump from a 1990 Iroc-Z with a TPI 350 instead. With the one in the pic, you'll need to grab a 1996-up vortec 350 thread on clutch and a mech. fan that bolts to the water pump pulley....pita if you ask me.

Re: Anyone recognize the water pump ?

Stock won't work....you need a serpentine water pump because its reverse rotation.....but the one he's showing is probably a match for whatever those pulleys came from but is not needed for an older application. Also, if you opt for a mech. fan, it has to be for a serpentine setup say, from a 88-95 truck because of the blade pitch-unless you plan to go with electric fans.

The engine is a 350 from a 77ish c-10 with vortec heads . The water pump did not come with the setup, the setup was taken from the salvage and I just matched a pump that would clear. Also will be running an electric fan

Re: Anyone recognize the water pump ?

Ah....ok. Well, that pump is either a Vortec 5.7 or 4.3 and either way, you'll be better off running a water pump from an 87-92 F-body. Then, you can use a stock type serp. pulley from that same car and be okay. Actually, if you haven't got them all yet-get a complete pulley set from an fbody-itll all bolt on....I do these serp. swaps all the type along with cooling fan upgrades to HO fan assemblies.

Re: Anyone recognize the water pump ?

Here ya go-it's a pic of a 434 I built for another car....it has an Fbody serp. kit on it. The Moroso vacuum pump resides where the factory smog pump used to be.....for a street car/truck I would just go with a Dorman smog delete pulley or use a different RH serp bracket for use w/o smog pump. Dorman also makes an AC delete pulley....I have an extra one if you need....PM me if you need any install tips or help
