I picked up the carpet for my 83 from these folks. (plush cut pile type)

StockInteriors.com

I am really pleased with it. Great quality and plenty of overhang to hold down properly, especially behind the seats

Palf70Step - Did you glue it down at all or is that not necessary?

Man, that is old school and still selling. ACC is also good. Or maybe they just sell carpet. Can't remember. Also-GMC's Pauls

I got a stockinteriors.com replacement and it came in an ACC box. Very pleased with it!

Looks factory to me.

RockAuto.com sells ACC carpet kits. They have them cheaper than any others I've found. Love RockAuto.

I bought a kit for my crew cab from stock interiors as well and it showed up in an ACC box. Looks good laying out, but I have not installed it yet. I just can't let the 1 small rust spot I found go un fixed so I am in between right now. Once I've patched it I will bed line everything and lay my carpet. I did opt for the mass backing and I am still not sure what I got for the extra $89. I should have probably put those bucks towards fatmatt or help offset my seatbelt bill. Not to stray too far but have you priced new seatbelts yet? now figure it for a crew. You could have a crack habit cheaper. :waah:

I think this will link up and show the pics of my install.

I also did mass backing and I do believe it helped quiet it down just a bit (relatively speaking of course)!

No Glue. Just the eat bolts and the threshold brackets
