Removing Radio
I know I must sound like an idiot but how in the hell do you remove the radio out of the dash? I am able to loosen everything and the radio is free inside the dash but i cannot take it out, can somebody help me out? it's on an 84 c10

There might be a brace from the back of the radio to the front of the cab

there isn't anything holding the radio, i can move it around inside the dash i just cant get it out of there. the two knobs are preventing the radio from coming out the front of the dash

I had a hard time getting my factory cassette radio out, that thing was HUGE. You just have to wriggle it around and find a way to get it out the bottom. It was 15 years ago, I don't recall exactly what angle to twist but I want to say I shoved the back in and up as far as I could to get the shafts free of their holes.

My question is how did you have it all loose behind the dash if the knobs were still on ?!?!?!?!?!

loosen the screws that are holding the radio to the dash and remove the nuts that were holding the knobs to the dash
