When raising/lowering my truck airbags, the front makes slow creaking noises. What needs to be lubed/tightened?

Are any of your bushings poly? A-arms, sway bar? Sweet truck by the way. Is the front end new, bushings and metal parts

Everything is new. All of the Porterbuilt stuff front and rear was finished and I've been driving the truck on weekends since spring. The creaking is a relatively new development. Only my I6 motor mounts were loose at the motor ( and appear to be a real pain in the butt to get a wrench on). The PB control arm bushings are delrin and the sway arm appear to be rubber. No poly anywhere. I have gobs of grease oozing out of my ball joints no matter how many times I wipe them off, if that's not normal. No grease ports for control arm shafts, but you wouldn't lube delrin bushings anyway.

Global West has been making their Del-A-Lum bushings for 30 years and they all have grease fittings in them. The "Del" in the name stands for "delrin".

most delrin will swell with any kind of grease or oil applied unless it's got a lot of teflon or nylon mixed in with it. I don't know specifics about either brand so who knows. but it sounds like dry sway bars bushings to me fwiw.

What would you lube the sway bar bushings with? I have teflon based grease I use on my bikes, if that matters.

try and go with the thickest/stickiest stuff you can find, I've had good luck with "marine grease" that's all it said on my container of it but it seemed to last the longest for me. Sway bar bushings are a pain to keep greased especially if you don't have the greasable ones. rain etc washes em' dry. I don't know if there is anything specific that would cause rubber bushing to swell, I haven't noticed swelling on any factory or oe replacement rubber bushing with any of the grease i've ever used personally...

I have no idea what delrin Global West uses but I've used 2 sets of those bushings with one set almost 10 years and they are still as smooth as the day I put them in so they haven't swelled any.

I wish GW would make these for our stock a-arms, I'd buy a set in a heartbeat!!!
