Tailgate trim removal

How is the lower tailgate trim removed and can it be re-installed? Where could I get the clips for re-installation? Thanks.

It has clips - I can see the edge of them by prying the trim outward a little.

So, I have everyone's permission to rip it off and it won't destroy the trim?

I notice that the LMC catalog noted does not actually show this piece of trim, just the corner trim with H clips. I know the corner trim has nuts which attach from the back side of the body, but you cannot access the back side of the tailgate because it is all one rolled metal piece. I may just let a pro remove it, then I can blame him if it is ruined.

If it is the metal trim the clips are attached with 2 way tape, plastic trim is installed just with 2 way tape. just kinda pry and cut it with a utility blade for either style.
