2002 Silverado Z71 EXT Cab with 5.3
 

Well I bought my dad's truck. He bought it new and I plan on taking care of it. I want to add a little more power to it. I was wondering if I you do a cam swap and do something with the heads? It currently has a dual exhaust and K and N intake on it. I was told if I if I replace the cam, heads, bigger throttle body and headers.

I also have a 06 Colorado Extreme crew cab that I plan on doing some stuff to also.

Man, my 99 Z71 with 5.3 has plenty of power, what are you tying to do with it

I'm trying to pull my 7500 lb boat and hauling my skis in the back or one of my bikes!

Stock 04 5.3 here with a K & N filter, Tows this around NO problems at all.
