My 71 C10 now rolling on some Intro Wheels :)

here are some pictures of my 71 c10 going under the knife to house the new intro wheels. Front wheels are 22x8.5 and rear are 24x15. The truck was already bagged so we had to cut off the old notch and build a monster notch and narrow the frame from the cab back so that the wheels would fit. The rear axle had to be narrowed almost 3' the front had to be Z'd on the firewall and Z'd on the front radiator horns. We decided to go with air cylinders in the rear

The tires are 405/25/24 not really putting out an insane amount of HP I just love the way the huge lip looks in the back

is the hole through the cab for a speaker box? I did that back in the 90's.

MAN! I saw that too! It's got to be from that. You remember doing that? back when it was cool to do stuff like that! I did that as well, I've cut the beds/cabs and dropped several 15s or 18" subs in the bed. Now I get upset that they dash was cut for a DIN style radio.

Now let's see if anyone was as bad as I was; anyone else do any walk throughs? Cut out the entire front of the bed, and the back of the cab. Toss a cap on it, then throw in a accordion boot to "seal" it. Funny thing was, I used to do this to all my S10s! How is it I was able to get a doctorate, but couldn't figure out that it's MUCH easier to just BUY A BLAZER!

ah good old mini trucks.
Yea we did walk throughs and cut outs and 15's and 12's in the bed with plexiglass over the amps. Lots time and money to go deaf. lol

Yeah its a cut through for subs, it was like the from PO, its all chopped up for the bags so I figured why not keep the hole for the subs

True, I would have left it also, not like you'll be doing any hauling in that bed anymore

Insane build so far, can't wait to see the end result

Thanks! These wheels were not my first choice, I wanted the twisted vistas but I figured everyone had those so why not go with something different? and my buddy got a real good deal on these through intro with ZERO wait time, the wait time for an offset similar to these is about 6-9 months, now that I see them on I really like the style
