After looking at prices, I think I'd go with a Dorman unit from Advance Auto Parts. The Dorman name has been well-respected in our area. Their price is like $40 vs. ~ $100 at other vendors. Be sure that it definitely is a 0-30-ohm unit, tho'!

I recently purchased one from LMC. I can't remember what I paid for it but it bolted up and worked just fine.

I inquired about them to a former member here that restores 64-66 trucks. He said he gets his from http://www.truckandcarshop.com/. Still have to replace mine but haven't bought one yet. You could check with http://www.classicparts.com/ as well.

I just installed one from LMC. Called late on Monday night, shipped out Tuesday and on doorsteps Thursday. Installed in 5 minutes.

Thanks 50bomb, for mentioning the " truck and car shop" in Orange, I had no idea it was local and competative prices to other shops in the area!!!!

I have ordered and put in several from Classic worked great. Be sure to hook ground wire from cab to sending unit plate .

I got mine off ebay from american classic parts for $52 shipped. It comes with all the hardware. Be careful taking the screws out, the tips get bad inside the tank and get tight when taking them out. That kit had the screws with it and came pretty fast. My fuel gauge works just fine.
