[Funny Story] Took the 75 out for a ride tonight..
 

Well..I went out tonight, to give the 75 a little stretch. As I was driving around, I came up to an intersection...that's when the fun began.
The intersection is prolly the biggest in town. From white line to white line, it's prolly 80'. On the side I was sitting on, it's 3 lanes, but then once you cross the intersection, it immediately merges into 2 lanes. (and I do mean IMMEDIATELY)...
So I pull up, and I'm in the bump lane. (Far right) Next to me is these two dumb lookin broads in a new Hyundai Accent(:barf:), then next to them is some punk kids in a mid 90's Yukon. (I wouldn't say it was lifted, but it did have maybe 32's on it.)
OF COURSE the punk kids in the Yukon had flowmasters on it, and OF COURSE they continued to rev their stock engines up as we sat at the light. The dumb broads in the accent were like giggling or some crap...I knew though, if I tried to go 100% WOT off a dead-stop, I was going to go NOWHERE. So...the light turned green and the yukon TOOK OFF (not really, but it was flooring it :rolleyes:). The accent *TRIED* to go fast...and there I was...soon as the light turned green, I went about 3/8th's throttle and rolled it out. I got to about 3/4 across the intersection when I LAID into it. I knew immediately that I lost a LITTLE traction. When I went WOT, the yukon was about 10' ahead of me, while the accent was just a bumper ahead of me. As soon as I went WOT, I IMMEDIATELY JUMPED in front of the accent, at which time I IMMEDIATELY had to merge. So, needless to say, at that point, I was directly next to the Yukon. Within about 1-2 seconds, I was a complete 10' AHEAD of that Yukon. It was INSANE! I myself couldn't believe how fast I got ahead of it, and I"ll bet the punk kids couldn't either!
That's it. After that little race, the punk kids turned off at the next light. :D :metal:
All this and the truck is STILL running at 11.5:1 Air/Fuel Ratio up top! :lol:

Put them in there place!! Feels good when you win. Loosing can be embarassing. I bet those punk kids didnt have to turn off where they did. Bet they did a u-turn and was back going the same way.

I hate those intersections - especially the ones that go from 2 lanes to 1 lane immedealty after the intersection. Modesto's roads suck! Maybe I just hate those roads because I usually insist on being first in front of everyone, but loose because even at WOT the lil 305 is only half as fast as everything else. When I'm in the Tahoe its another story. I ALWAYS win in that behemoth. Mustangs have no chance. I'm going cruzing on McHenry When I get back. 25th on a Friday - want to meet somewhere? PM me.
