Pretty sweet truck it would look pretty nice all cleaned up. I like that it has buddys too.

It also appears to be a CST, looks decent enough...

Pretty cool. Too bad it's so far away from me.

That is my truck as a 4x4 with a whole lot less miles.

That's a mighty fine '68 CST K/20 for the money...with 15k?? Someone's getting a good deal.

I would think that is a smoking deal for somebody in KY or close up there. Jim

I'm thinking it's a CST too given the trim on the pedals and carpet. Looks like a heck of a deal for someone in the area.

Rear window must have been replaced, maybe broke out by the equipment. Would one leave as is or take back to stock? That would be the dilemma if I bought it.

I asked for some pics and just got more crappy photos. It is a CST from the pic i got of the SPID, but it was only a pic or the right side so i didnt get all the info. Never got any more pics. So I gave up on this one

I'd buy that so fast and have it shipped to Delmo- convert it to 2wd 1/2 ton bag it- leave all the fire stuff on it and roll that #$@&*

plenty of 2wd's to do that with, this is a rare truck here.

I'm gonna go take a look tomorrow....will let you know what I see. I'm no expert. But I It's 95 miles away so I'll take a chance.

Yes I'm sure its a CST. One book I've got says only 4% of 1968's were CST.
Also think I see tow hooks on the front. I wonder if the tailgate is still there.
I talked to him on the phone, he said rust was not too bad, needed 1 rocker panel.

It is a CST, I got a pic of half of the spid. Looks like hooks to me also. Good luck, I hope it's a good find. Let us know....

Buying such a fine example of a well optioned 4wd just to completely deface into a common C/10 would be totally ridiculous. Why not just put fire apparatus on a 2wd? I'm sure many of these ex-brush trucks being bought and restored aren't using using the fire apparatus and that stuff could be had for reasonable money.

Looked at the truck this morning and it was great in some ways and awful in other ways.... I am not a buyer on this one. Its very original but there is so much fire equipment/features that it would be hard to put back to a stock truck which is what I would want. There is no tail gate, there is a lot of plumbing under the truck .... sprayer under the front bumper etc.
The spid is coming off and curled up so almost impossible to photograph. But the options (buckets, tow hooks, cst, etc.) are all there. Think he's having a lot of calls .... said he would take $6000 and I would think probably less. Original wheels and hubcaps come with it and both are very nice. Buddy bucket console is trashed in the center seat. I know I am rambling but just trying to remember..... It was raining and it wouldn't start .... not the best day to look ... didn't crawl underneath since there was 2 inches of standing water around it..... It will make someone a nice project and is worth the money but my garage is full so the next "I'll take it" wins.
