Hey guys I am building a 71 that I just picked up. I am calling it 2nd chance because I had my first 71 when I was 15 and have had many other 67-72 trucks since but not another 71. I had such big plans for my 1st one and they never came along before I parted with it after a few years. The truck im starting with is a LWB 71 halfton thats got original 250 and powerglide. Plans are to cut it down for short bed, bag it on 20s and make it a daily driver

Thanks, ive got it running now and picked up a set of aluminum slots for it this week. Not a bad start for the first week.

I really regret when i passed on a set of 16.5X9(something-ish) 8 lugs about 2 years ago, the tire shops were telling me that the manufactures were gonna stop making 16.5's so i was afraid i'd never get them shoed. 2 years later there is still at least 2 manufacturers still making 16.5 tires.. Oh well.
