MUST VENT !!!!!!!!!! ABOUT AIM
I ORDER A SET OF 1.5 LOWER COILS FOR A 73-87 TRUCK(UPDATED SUSPENSION ON MY 70) FROM AIM ON 3/15/02. WELL FIGURED THEY BE HERE BY NOW SO I CALLED THEM FOR A TRACKING NUMBER. THEY GIVE ME THE NUMBER AND TELL ME THAT THEY JUST GOT SHIPPED YESTERDAY. I ASKED WHY. THE COULDNT GIVE ME NO ANSWER FOR THEM TO BE SHIPPED 11 DAYS LATE, NOT BACK ORDERED OR NOTHING.ERRRRRRRRR WHAT THE HE$$. SO ASKED IF ANY OF MY 28$ SHIPPING FEE WOULD BE GIVIN BACK, SAID THE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO...
SO NOW I HAVE MY TRUCK IN THE ROAD WITH A 2.5,6 DROP AND NO SPRINGS, CANT DRIVE DUE TO ALIGNMENT OUT. TOP IT OFF I GET TOMORROW OF WORK PAID(3 DAY WEEKEND) AND HAVE NO MEANS OF CRUSING! ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR DA%% IT MAN. SORRY, NEEDED THAT |
AIM is the worst aftermarket company out there. I don't know how they have stayed in business so long. I have never gotten anything from AIM that fit decently. We got some S-Blazer ground effects once, and had 40 hours into putting them on. Had some spindles that we would have had to grind about half the iron off to make em work. They sent us some rear lowering springs for a full size Chevy, and they turned out to be for a Toyota, and then argued with us for two weeks that they were the right ones. I would never support them again. Don't even get me started on their convertible top conversions.
