Question for the lowered owners.

I'm getting my parts together to drop my 72. I was wanting to know which trac bar is the best? Right now it's going to be lowered 3" in the front via springs, the rear is going to be 4". And which shocks is everyone running? Later on I'm going to drop with spindles and springs. Thanks Jeff.

Re: Question for the lowered owners.

I recommend ECE's super track bar, shocks, and rear shock relocators.

even thinking on going any lower in the rear, go porterbuilt.

I second this. ECE has a very kit. Super easy to install. Looks good. And because of all the adjustment you have lots of options for the future

When you say "best" trac bar I have to say porterbuilt(pictured). For the few extra bucks you get heim joints with a double adjustable bar. I realize you should only set the length and forget it but... Would you rather: remove a bolt and turn the bar and force it back together, or loosen two jamb nuts and turn the bar ? Otherwise ECE is great and I have bought from them too. OE shocks with ECE relocators is the way to go. I like KYB shocks.

I was going to say ECE because I am doing that to a 70 with 6'' drop right now , but now that I see the porterbuilt bar I can definitely see advantage to it ..... Now you just have to decide how muchyou want to spend.

You dont need the extra driver side mount to use the ECE track bar, just use the existing driver side mount.

Thanks everyone, looks like I'll be going with the ECE one. I have never heard anything bad about ECE things. Thanks again.

Couldn't agree more. Getting the rear end aligned is much easier with the porter built trac bar. I fought with my ece bar to get it perfect. Everything else mentioned from ece is great.
