Roll bar pic's
Anyone on here have a AD truck with a roll bar or cage installed? Thinking about doing something with mine, I need to get back to the track and I'd like a 10 sec, toy, for starters, to play with. I miss racing, and I don't want to stick a roll bar in the chevelle. Big tires on the old 51 would look cool. My 434 would put it down the track pretty decent. Don't know about the TCI 4 link though, may need to rethink rear susp. Just thinking out loud here, cruise in's are getting old, not enough excitement. I blame you all, looking at the pic's of your trucks done it.

I ran 10's when I still had my TCI 4 link in my 71.

Re: Roll bar pic's
I'm going to try it, I got it and this is a budget build. I see a lot of the 67 to 72's but I,ve never really seen a ad truck with a roll bar. Mine's apart now but when I get the cab on I'll do a little measuring. Thanks for the reply.

Re: Roll bar pic's
It seems odd to me. But I was checking out a buddys little Hot rod the other day and had some questions. It was a Kaiser car (small) but was checking out the cage that was certified to 8.50s and noticed that it didnt have any door bars. How can this be?

I've seen that to. I've seen fast cars that were certified to 7.50 that the welds looked like a 10 yr old welded. I want to drive mine on the street but want to be able to get in and out without to much trouble. Also I think my bars are going to have to go back through the cab, looks like the window will be to low. Would like to figure out a way to seal them with some kinda rubber boot or something similar. Going to have to think on that a little.
