NOS 72 arm rest and tail light bezels.

Once again, I have bought items from other board members and not used them. I am changing my direction on my 72 as I have mentioned and do not need these items any longer.

Here is the link to the thread I bought them from
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=600532

I will take $150.00 for the 72 arm rest and $50.00 for the tail light bezels plus whatever the shipping charge is. Should not be over $15.00 in either case.

I am not making any money on these parts, just passing it along and hope to recover my money.

I will post on ebay if there is no interest here.

Thank you for looking.
Tom

I would not have a problem with that except the fact that they have been shipped also. Here is what I will do. I will post a WTB for NOS tail light bezels and if I find any, you will get them. I will even offer them to you for no charge if that fixes this. I apologize for my mistake.

Thank you,
Tom

The way most people sell parts on here is there is a 24 hour time frame from when you say you will take it.If you wait more than 24 hours to get back or pay the seller your loss.

The part has been sold and shipped, it's time to move on. The seller did no wrong here. He would have also done no wrong in waiting longer for a response, if he had chosen to do so. It's his parts and his call as to how he sells them. There was no PM sale here, everything is cut and dry.

Re: NOS 72 arm rest and tail light bezels.

As per the Buying and Selling Code of Conduct, the Buyers Code of Conduct rule #3 states:

III.Keep in contact with the seller. Ensure you contact them when payment has been sent. Failure to contact seller within 48 hours of posting you will purchase the item will forfeit purchasing rights.

While Tom may have fallen a bit short in this time, on several for sale threads, it has been brought to public attention by staff and Admin. that the rules are more of a guideline than law, and they cannot force sellers to sell items to buyers. The final sale is ultimately the seller's final choice.

However, it is understandable for people to get busy and not be able to log back onto the computer, such as what may have happened to 1blue72. And for that I do understand your grief. However, I think this was more of a fluke, an oversight, or a lack of knowledge than a malicious choice to move on...nothing else.

Tom, that is quite a nobel offer for you to make. As a buyer of many items myself, I know that $#!% happens, and I would just count it off as "it's all good."

I hope that no one has any hard feelings on this and that Tom is not out of any money trying to make amends. We all make mistakes.
Good evening gentlemen :chevy:

Good evening gentlemen :chevy:

Richard,

I appreciate your comments and I hope we can just move on. I understand there is somewhat of a gray area as to when a purchaser says "I will take it" to when they actually pay for it. I have been in the same situation here many times myself and you just have to move on. These parts come up all the time and every time I think I missed out, I see the same part again a short time later.

You are good people Richard.
Take care,
Tom
