04 2500hd 4x4 tire & wheel ??????
 

planning on installing a leveling kit and going to some beefy tires. i have seen a few trucks with Hummer H2 wheels and 315/70/17's and they look really good but are there any issues with tires rubbing with this setup ? i also like the looks of my stock aluminum and have looked at some 295/75/16's but same question will they rub ? whats the best setup ? H2 or stock ? i know the H2 wheels are 8.5 inches wide and the stock are only 6.5. i really want the biggest tire with no rubbing issues.

I had 315 70 17 on H2 wheels on my 1500hd with just a leveling kit and had no rubbing anywhere. your 2500hd sits about 2" higher, I also had 295 on 8.5 weld wheels and I had to do some trimming, just depends what backspace you get.

did u have any spacing on the h2 wheels or just bolt on ?? thats pretty much what i've decided to put on the truck. gonna use my centers.
