steering gear box spline
 

Hi guys, I installed a new steering gear box on the old pitman arm the spline didn't seem to slip on as deep as the old box. does that seem normal?http://imageshack.com/a/img69/6291/nh7d.jpg There was about a 1/4 inch before now there is a 3/8 gap.
