I recently bought a 2013 silverado that has a trailer hitch but no brake controller.There are wires under the dash that are used to install an aftermarket controller. Can these wires be used to install the factory controller and also show the gain on the driver information center? The switch from the GM dealer does not have any wires and requires a plug from the wiring harness. Has anyone tried to do this? Thanks for any help.
