1961 I6 Stepside Build
2 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone,
I picked up this truck about a month ago, joined this board and now I figured I'd start my build thread. It will probably be slow but I want to document it somewhere. Truck seems to run well, rust isn't too bad Stock 235 with alternator update. Thanks for checking this out! |

Welcome to the board. That looks like a great truck to start with. What are your plans for it?:metal:

:hi: and :welcoem: to the board!
We all like the new and fresh builds from folks, so keep us in tune with what you do to your truck. There is a ton of experience and ideas here so dont be afraid of posting your questions here. I believe it is safe to say we all learn something by reading other peoples builds. Good looking truck (love the stepsides) :metal: Good luck and have fun !!! |

Welcome and great truck to work on. Always been a fan of the stepsides and you don't see tons of long beds. We'll want some more pics and updates of progress.

What are your plans? Beware... as Murph said, ideas can be found all over this board...;) My initial plans where to drop in a motor, bought mine without one, and drive... Bought my truck in April 2012, haven't driven it yet, and the cab is on a stand, bed isn't on, rolling chassis does have 350 with 5 speed on it... :blah: The term Snowball comes to mind...:bann: Have fun and I'm along for the ride as well... |
