Rear Cab Mount Brackets
2 Attachment(s)
These are a pair of original rear cab mount brackets, that have been abrasive blasted. There is a little pitting from rust where the rubber mount goes, but they are very useable. I have reamed the rivet holes out to 7/16" and included new grade 8 hardware. I'm asking $55.00 shipped in the US.

Re: Rear Cab Mount Brackets
These also work as a good solution for the 3/4 rear cab mounts that often fail. I got mine from Tony, but these you have listed are a great deal less $.

Re: Rear Cab Mount Brackets
Oh and would i need your steering box adaptor to put a 72' manual box on my 66 that im swapping a 72 front end in?

Re: Rear Cab Mount Brackets
Obviously don't want to spend extra on shipping if i don't need it. Do you have any solutions for track bars? I got a ho52 being replaced by a leaf spring 12 bolt so i need to get a track bar mount or a whole new set up.

Re: Rear Cab Mount Brackets
Yes you will need a steering box adapter plate, and possibly the tube and flange if you are keeping the original steeing column. Why not just go with a power steering box? I do not have anything for the panhard bar. You can simply cut the original off of the HO52 and weld it to the 12 bolt axle tube. I do have new trailing arm mounts though.

Re: Rear Cab Mount Brackets
If you just want manual steering why not keep your original steeing box?
If you did want power steering, a power steering box shouldn't be that hard to find over there. GM made millions of them from '68-'87. Quote:

Yes your original pitman arm will bolt up to the '71-'87 draglinks.

Re: Rear Cab Mount Brackets
Got them yesterday thanks again. Keeping an eye out for parts from you i can use! On a side note i have a c20 looking for pan hard bar bushings. All the poly one say only for c10 any ideas? Are the trailing arm bushings the same for c10 and c20?
|
Re: Rear Cab Mount Brackets
Both the panhard bar and the trailing arm bushings are the same between the C10 and C20.
