Nice Looking 71 Tow Truck on Hemmings
Kinda pricey but pretty cool. Wonder if 24,000 is the miles since new or since it was rebuilt...?

looks like it was restored 20 years ago from the discription and has only gone 25000 miles since the restoration

I don't believe that cab is original. A 71 one ton would have had cab lights.

Nice truck,but a lot doesn't add up. Nothing wrong with assembling a nice truck,though. You never saw electric over hydraulic wreckers back then. I guess that's what they did with an automatic transmission,or an electric winch?

I have 2 71 c-30s 1 has cab lights and the other does not the one without is c-30 longhorn @ the other is a wrecker

A '71 C/30 with dual rear wheels would have been built with clearance lamps to comply with ICC regulations.
