Trying to pull my steering wheel and I pulled the horn button and encounters those nasty little wierd screws. See pic. Can anyone tell me what bit will get these out? My local Autozone "pro" had no idea.

Thanks. Anybody know the proper bolt diameter and thread pattern to use with the puller? The bolts in the kit don't work.

I heard that they're called Double D. Had them on my door handle on the inside and also on my accelerator pedal. Just used a large flathead screwdriver. And PB blaster!!!

I just pulled mine. I used 5/16" coarse thread bolts. Not sure if it was right as mine had pretty bad threads, but I tried some fine thread and they definately didn't work. The steering wheel on mine came off while I was tightening the bolts on the puller down! Real easy. Mine didn't have the D Bolts.

Thanks Bret. I tried 5/16 fine. It wouldn't go in, but I felt like the bolt was too big. Just wanted to check before I went and purchased a bunch of different bolts.

They are clutch heads i have had a set for years you could probably google it and find a set. The 30s avd 40s chevy used a lot of them.
