Upper tailgate latch retrofit?
 

The brackets to hold my upper gate are broken and don't hold the gate open. Jamming a screwdriver in the mechanism to hold it just seems like a headache/concussion wating to happen.
Searching for a new (working) set if anybody happens to have some laying around they'd like to part with. Also curious if anyone has ever tried to retrofit a hydraulic gas shock lift system into their Suburban?
