Another cool ebay find, I wish I could have posted a full size version, it shows the Feathers blazer along with several others I had not heard of along with a suburban 1776 version and several for the pickups. I wonder if any of these trucks have survived.

very cool
i wish I had sticker kit like that for my truck. such pure 70ies are happening in that pic that its knumbing my brain!

Sweet I love the feathers blazer. I just read an old article on them pretty cool. They were amazed with the automatic transmission mated with the 4X4.
|
I have a white suburban.I can put the 1776 decals on it.I have seen the feathers on a blazer at hershey.Never seen or heard of the 1776.

There is (was) a 71/72 Blazer here that had the "flag" theme on it. It was white with a black top. It now sits topless in an open concrete manure storage area on a farm now. I inquired, not for sale.:(
Anybody notice the 1776 was not available in NY or DC? |
There is an "Eagle" truck in my area.
|
I remember those in the day. They were pretty flashy.
|
do they still make the decals ? i wonder if you could get them reproduced ? They are cool looking all of them, well mabe not the van.
|
van?
is the flipper van in reference to the show!? If so thats really cool. ".... faster than lightning, no one you see is smarter than he. Thay call him Flipper!"
see what getting your masters does to a preson? sad isnt it... :canada: :gmc: |
It looks like "Rippler" to me. Maybe it's a reference to "Ripple" wine.:D
