Restoring a Blazer under dash speaker?

Any idea if there is a way to restore a 69-72 Blazer under dash speaker? I have the original mount and speaker for my 1972 Blazer, but the speaker cone has been punctured.

There must be someone, somewhere that can do this......?!

Thanks

If your near or in Sacramento use Ray's Auto Stereo, 1925 "F" St., Sacramento, CA 95811. (916) 447-9753. I just had them fix my stock AM radio and re-cone the stock speaker. Works like new. They are a little slow, took about six weeks, to get them back and a little pricey but they work great. They fix any old stereo/speaker. Good Luck

How much to re-cone? I have one I stuffed tissue in the holes on back when I painted it and the cone was so rotted it was full of punctures when I pulled the tissue out

Not sure how much the re-cone was by itself since they did my radio/speaker at the same time and I got a "package" deal. Lucky me ;)

I think it would be about $70 just for the re-cone.

You might also want to consider the new speakers sold by SM Electro-Tech at http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm

I used one of their 4" x 10" rectangle speakers in my 74 Nova. It fit right into the existing dash location using the original mounting bracket. I believe 67-72 trucks use this same size dash speaker as well. They're about $60.
