motor mount Q

I might be finally getting a big block to drop in my old 67.I allready have a 4:11 posie out of a 71-72 and a tranny crossmember out of a 71 3/4 ton automatic(the 67 had a 6/3 on tree).I'm planning on putting the front crossmember out of a 73 up under it and using the 73 up motor mounts. Will the 73 up crossmember be a direct bolt on?Are the 73 up motor mount towers different between a SB and BB?Is there anything else I'm missing here?(besides not yet having the motor)

There's quite a lot of differences in these mounts. Check with vendors, junkyards, and acquaintances who have done the switch

I'm pretty sure that the 73 crossmember will bolt right up. I've never tried it, but it's been talked about before.

I believe this is a direct bolt-in.
I spoke with one of the vendors on this when I was first trying to decide how to make my desired 4X4, he definitely knew what he was discussing(NOT LMC:D). He recommended it, due to the older style BB mounts being considerably more expensive. If anything, you may need to redrill one set of the holes on the frame I do remember that he said the width is the same.
