medai blasting 12 bolt axle housing ???
 

I have our 12 bolt torn completely down for media blasting but trying to firgure out what to put in the axle tubes and pinion hole to keep from getting anything in it? What are your ideas????? Thanks Brandon

I think I would probably either clean the ends of the axle tubes up and duct tape around the ends of the housings or take it all the way apart where there are no parts in it. Get it cleaned down to where there is no oily or sticky residue for media to stick to. Then blast it and after words clean very thoroughly again. Not sure that I would do any of it though I think I would take a die-grinder with a scouring head on and go to town.
