That looks suspiciously like a GM 12 bolt 8.875P Car diff from a Chevy impala. The 8.875T Truck diff is a different shape. Contrary to the popular urban myth, the 12 bolt designation refers to the number of bolts that hold the ring gear to the carrier and has absolutely NOTHING to do with the number of bolts that fasten the cover to the diff housing. That was just evil humor on the part of the engineers who designed the 12 bolt diff to confuse the uninformed, the gullible and the BS'er.

The 8.875P is a strong diff. If you can weld, Currie sells loose housing brackets including the mounts you need for the Panhard bar. Installing these is probably an easier way to convert what you have to fit your truck. There are lots of diff shops here in Southern Arizona but there isn't one I would trust to weld those brackets on and for good reason. They simply have no stake in the outcome! If you tack them in after aligning everything at ride height then have a certified welder finish them that is the best way.

I have explained that to some of my buddies many times, and they still think I'm pullin' their leg. Oh well. Just like one of my Ford buddies that calls BS when I tell him that the General made a Chevy 302.
