I certainly sympathize. I'm already having withdrawals from zipping around in the truck, and the snow hasn't really dumped yet. But when my all wheel drive Honda CRV starts slip sliding around and the ABS kicks in at stop signs, I figure it's time to leave the truck in the garage for a while.

They salt so much here I wont drive until its dry but when it is I do as much as I can. The temps have been in single digits for a while now but the heater works great!

Yeah this cold weather is really starting to get to me. It actually dropped into the 50's yesterday! Can you believe that? I actually had to put on an extra blanket on the bed. I'm gonna have to go out and see about finding a block heater for my car if this keeps up.

Its all good. Been 40s or so here in Central NC but now back to the 60s and 70s. But, John Lee is a daily driver....weather be damned! Its the only vehicle I own now....GoodWife has her jeep but she works too so...we roll.....albeit a bit slower and with great caution if the roads are slippery....no one here has ice or snow skills and its amazing all the traction controlled vehicles in the ditches and poles and fields with each rain shower.!!!

winter really sucks. it's going to get down to like 54 tomorrow with a chance of rain. I don't know if I can go into my garage and work on my truck. LOL I feel for you guy's that have to deal with bad winters. have a merry CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winter has been pushing back for the last few years, getting cold later in the year and staying cold into spring. I hate it. If it gets below 60 degrees I cut firewood and hide under a blanket.
It was 67 here today though, not too shabby for Dec 18th! |

We only seem to get rain and clouds up here with low to mid 40's and when it becomes clear and sunny its freezing ass cold like 11 at night at 22 during the day at the most.

We all have our weather mess, here in Texas its so freaking hot in July, August and September, you really dont want to go outside. Then in late October, we have our week of Fall, then it is up and down with temps and rain/snow/sleet until April, then we have our week of spring, then by late June it is hot again. Dont get me wrong, I like living in Texas most of the time, but in summer, I would like to have a cool spell once in a while....

We have a 100% chance for snow Friday. That will be the stuff that stays until March. Bummer. I have one more day to drive the truck then it goes in the garage till Whenever it clears up. I did get to drive it today and did some doughnuts and burnouts. Maybe my kid will hold the camera and get some video before i put it away.

That was the start of our first big storm. We now have 6" of snow and three Christmas parties to drive too. Wahoo ! Merry Christmas.
