ok after correcting size here ya go. This is a '62 frame. The muffler guy welded the bar across top for the muffler hangers and the pipes run side by side no x or H pipe connection. Not needed unless over 500hp. Flowmaster Delta 40s Loud and proud when on it, mild while cruising. No drone.

I'll say one thing...On a lowered truck...the exhaust has to be a hiiiiiiigh up as possible! LOL! Or you might go over a bump and watch the exhaust go out the back of the truck!;)

Re: Pictures of exhaust on bagged trucks
I like all the set-ups pictured.
Anyone else have pictures? I went to a custom exhaust shop and talked and showed the owner, where I was putting the 4'' hole with welded in 4'' pipe reinforcement in the trailing arm member. The owner said it would not be possible to bend it up within the frame because of the stock tranny cross bar. What do you guys think, also pictures of this area on your so I bring them in and show him. Thanks Quote:

Heres a few of mine, starts at the 292 and goes outside the frame, both go under the driver seat, one crosses over behind the cab, and both follow the frame all the way out the back.
Looks like Jdoisher took the same route but with a V8, Nice looking work bud! I love that setup , I didnt notice any heat or noise issues at all, Ill do it again for sure, But next truck is gonna have 18 inch treads in back so Ill have to run between the rails on that one, |
