I have the LMC kit installed on my K10. They were already installed by the PO and I thought it was pretty cool my truck had power windows.

Well shortly after I purchased the truck the passenger side motor failed. That's when I found out LMC does not have any spare parts support for the product they sale.

I would not recommend LMC's kit, cheaply made, the electric motors are weak and LMC Customer Service will be absolutely no help if you have a problem down the road.

These are the ones I installed. Very easy to do and work perfect.
I highly recommend them

I also recommend A1 electric windows, after 15 years on my daily driven '72 the only problem I have had was one of the switches went bad. LMC sells JUNK and nothing but JUNK.

Re: Anybody using the LMC power windows?

I put the LMC kit in a 63 I used to have. It worked good. It was a lot of work installing it. It uses the original regulators so the mech. needs to be working freely or it will put excess load on the motor. I agree with the other guys, the A1 is a better setup if you want to spend a little more money. I used the A1 in my 70.
