Instrument Panel and Park Lights Not Working

I have a 1985 GMC Suburban 3/4 Ton with the 454. Just this past week my headlights went out, i went to replaced the headlight switch, hooked up the connector and turn the key to run and pulled the knob to turn on the lights and heard a pop. Took it back and got another one, installed it (works, didn't pop) but didn't turn my lights on. Replaced the dimmer switch and fixed the headlights. Headlights are on and my brake lights still work, but my parking lights (front and rear), dash lights DO NOT work. I checked fuses and wiring, all looks good. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Instrument Panel and Park Lights Not Working

When you installed the bad switch I think you popped a fuse. I can't remember which one it is, but mine popped the same one when I tried to wire my aftermarket tach light to the factory dimmer wire. Double check your fuses.
