Looking for more pictures of a specific crew cab
 

Simply put, Im looking for detail pictures of this truck if they exist, interior mostly. Ive always loved the "oops I dont already have enough room in my four door cab let me add some extra to the back" look.

Ive been wanting a crew cab dually of my own lately as Ive been having to borrow my dads f350 quite often. I had been looking at 70s ford crews because chevy never made them in the body style I always loved and stumbled upon a couple builds that allowed me to see one fleshed out in multiple steps.

And of course theres a cheap suburban near by at the moment...

Yesssssss! Two loves, BMWs and Chevy's ha. I drove three of these trucks in highschool and went crazy and got rid of all of em.

I have heard of a member,or vender here that builds the 4 door cabs and sells them if you are wanting to build one of the four doors . they do make a super looking truck....wish I had one....

Ha, yeah atvpro? Last I heard he wouldnt sell any of the parts used to convert to four door truck cab and he wanted 15k for JUST a cab.

Im not saying its not worth it and hed probably do a better job than me but theres no way I could come close to affording that just out of school.

Plus if you build it yourself then theres that..

I'll add to your thread, those dually fenders are perfection. I've been thinking it'd be cool to turn my truck into a dually, but always thought there could be something a little better than the step side fender mod, and this is it. Does anyone know if someone makes these fenders?

I like how the door or window frames are blacked out. Makes it blend with the tint. Well done overall..

Looks to be a newer Chevy dually fender, but with the 67-72 wheel arch and body line, it would be nice if I was wrong and they were easy to come by.

^^ thats what I was gunna say JHT. Looks to me like a 90s fender with some glass work to make the body line follow along.

Heres what Im really wanting to do for a bed, if I ever get to start a super crew c30 dually build...

Now I know its ford but just take it as information. Instead of blank spots where the stake pockets go though, Id probably try to integrate a couple small compartments for stowage.

Itd be difficult but one would think if you could craft a fourth door where there never was one then your could flare a bed side.

76 body on a modern 550 chassis, its what Id love to do with a custom chevy crew body (placed over a late 90s cummins 6 speed stretched dually chassis).

strangely i find this relevant to my interests. and all i have to say about that ford stuff is damn, i wish some day i run across a guy that becomes a good friend willing enough to do that quality level of work for his buddy, cause theres no way in hell i have enough time to learn it well enough to do it THAT well, and i for damn sure cant afford to pay the amount its truly worth. pardon my french.

And Noblesix, theres no shame in getting a cheapy welder and going to the scrap yard and getting some thin and thick stuff and teaching yourself. So far thats what Ive done.

As for the piecing together of parts (if were talking crew cab building) I actually got a good education on that in high school. An art teacher had us make sculptures out of cardboard. Its a cheap and easy way to learn pie cuts and how to make a radius. Yes it bends easier than metal but once you figure out how to work with sheet steel its about the same, if not easier.

Stumbled upon this one, looks to be the same truck. Im thinking whoever bought it updated the paint.

Im determined to find out more about this truck, I did find an old for sale ad for it on which is was priced at 22k...!!!!! That seems extremely low for such a job.
