Brake Help

Got a 2000 chev 2500 HD I pulled the motor out of for my 51 AD. Has anyone ever used the hydro-boost unit and master cyl off one of these trucks? It's std shift, but I could pull the pedals also, and eliminate the clutch pedal. I was going to try and use the throttle pedal also along with the cable. My eng is complete with ps pump, lines etc. Would like to use all I can, sold the running gear and the guy is waiting on it.

I would pull everything you think you might use, and then sell of the stuff that you don't end up using.

Thanks, sounds like it'll work out good.

If I had it I would run it and you might try to figure out how to run it with the floor pedal along with the clutch. The brake feel is so much better with the hydro boost that you will never look at a vacuum setup again.

I'm going to pull it out. I'm going to try and get a set of disc for the rear. Wonder if the proportioning valve will work or go with a adjustable on the rear?
