I've never seen a truck optioned like this one before especially with a big block in 1968. Anyway thought it was a neat truck you guys may want to see.

Anyone else notice he has listed the NADA price for a SS Elco for OUR benefit? Jim

So it has no P/S, no P/B and its a granny 4 speed. I think with P/S, P/B and an auto trans his asking price would be more realistic. It'd be nice to see a shot of inside the bed and under the hood. I still think its a cool truck. So the Max Trac axle must mean the 4:10 rear gears cause 3:54's would be standard with a 396 and granny 4 speed.

It's an oddball, that's for sure. Probably a more common configuration for a 3/4 ton.

If it were in NY I'd but it in a heartbeat, can't find anything around here in any shape...

Definitely an interesting truck. Seems to be all there and an unusual combination of options. Got potential, but been sitting and needs the usual cab stuff. Looks like to me is asking about double what it is worth.

That's a cool truck! I think 3.54s are with C/20 (Dana60) automatic. C/10 automatic would have 3.08s. I'd think the 4.10 ratio would be listed because it is an option. Could be wrong,I haven't looked at any data. But,I've seen more trucks with optional gears not listed than those with. The wheel covers aren't listed, either.

He has the proper listing. It just looks like NADA must puts the El Camino SS in the same listing for some reason

Anyway, neat truck and having the original protecto-plate makes it even more interesting

Ya I think he's a little high on the price too. Would make a great truck to cut down to a shorty.

Less options = less to break. And come on who doesnt love a granny low 4spd?
