Measuring sway bar

I want to measure my swaybar, as it is still attached. It is either a 1" 1/16th or 1"1/8th. I measured the end on the truck at 1" 1/8th but not sure because it is hard to reach. Any one have a good idea for the measurement?

I would just remove it, but my local auto parts store has neither in stock so I will be ordering them online and want to make sure I get the correct size.

Do you have dial calipers? 1 1/16 and 1 1/8 end wrenches? You could even take a cresent wrench to close up on it and then measure with a tape.

I've always just used the open end wrench trick.
