tbi tuning

Any one burn there own chips for tbi set up? I've been reading a lot on it I've only dialed in carburetorated cars, but I feel like this is the best set up to learn how to computer tune an engine. If any one has done this, is it an achieveable goal. I have a good understanding of fuel injection and wireing. Just not the ecu part. Is this something I can learn with out a school or a teacher?

this group has a lot of tech info and some seasoned tuners as well. they are geared towards Gm tbi conversions on IH engines, but they have a good understanding of the tuning and data logging stuff as well. they can be a little critical on what they consider newbie questions IMO though
