Truck tailgate up for grabs
 

This isn't for sale. It is for free, I wasn't able to post it in the for sale area, and it isn't for sale so I guess it shouldn't go there.

I have a truck tailgate and the assembly bolts for attaching it. I'm in Atlanta Ga and would love to give you this tailgate if you want it. I'd even meet you somewhere. If I don't get it gone soon my wife is going to kill me.

What part of Atlanta are you in?

I'm out in unincorporated Cobb east of Marietta and could hang it up on a wall or do something with it... maybe use it as a seatback on a bench for outside, the possibilities are endless.

Of course, not sure when I could actually try to get it...

Interested as well. Do you know what year it is? I have an 81+ on mine now an cant run the correct trim on it since they are different. Very interested if its an older gate. I could come get it this weekend...

I won't be coming up there this year for the Rod Run, used to go to that a lot when i was a kid. 79 Silverado was the first to grab hold. I'l going to offer it up to him if he can get it this weekend. I'll send you a PM and see if we can work things out, if not i'll repost that it's still up for grabs. Not exactly sure about the year. I took it off a 75 Blazer if that helps. I needed to replace it with a real Blazer tailgate.

79silverado if you just want a gate to make a bench out of ill swap you my 80's gate for that one. Not trying to be a jerk but that one should be the one i need to run the smaller trim that goes inside the recess on the older trucks. It looks pretty straight an no major dents. Just hate to see it hanging on a wall somewhere...

Heres mine, i have the chevy emblem for that trim panel still as well.
