Blazer Body Help
 

I went to the filling station today and bought new bumper's for my blazer,20$$$ in gas beat's 100$$$ for shipping. Anyway's I went to put on the front bumper and it would not line up???? So after remove/install remove/install I finally come to the conclusion that when I put new uerathane body mount's on I never did square up the body with the frame. Anyone got any tip's as to where I should measure from to get the body square to the frame???? Thank's LUKE

We lined the body up with the frame using the rockers for a reference and spaced both sides equally. On the clip, we aligned it to the body using the "x" dimension method to keep it square and then measured inside of the "tea cups" to the frame to make sure the left and right dimensions were ok. This worked out on the Blazer we have. Since your whole Blazer is together and you have a problem, you may have to loosen all body mount bolts and shift the front end to the direction needed.

Also, if your frame is not straight, you may have another problem.

Thank's jim I do not remember having this problem when I replaced the mount's, I knew the body was not straight but I put off making sure it was square.. I spaced the bumper to make it look right..... But with new bumper's I want it dead nut's on.... Thank's for the reply hope to fix it today!!!!
