Custom cab?

How can I tell if my cab was custom or not? The sails are gone and windshield trim too, if it ever was. I have a deal for the windshield trim and sails but don't know if I should get them cause my truck doesn't show any signs of custom trim.

Re: Custom cab?

A custom cab had horn ring on the steering wheel and a big back window. it may have also come with a cloth seat and vinyl trimmings. Nice truck, btw.

BBW is not part of any of the Custom packages (which are more than one, btw). It is a separate RPO.

Re: Custom cab?

Going from memory, someone correct me:

Custom chrome (front bumper/grille), custom comfort (seat upholstery, pass armrest/visor/door lock), custom trim (side trim), custom cab (sail panels, windshield trim). Mine has all but not the custom side trim.

Each "Custom" option is listed individually in the two pages below. Notice the Custom Camper option is a package of multiple custom options, and then some. Never was anything called a "custom cab".

Thanks OEM4ME! That's good stuff. Now, would it be wrong for me to add these "custom" items to my truck? I love the sails!

Not at all. We're doing it on my sons truck. Just can't say it came from the factory that way.

A custom cab is always a nice touch in my opinion. I am going to be doing the same with mine. :chevy:

You will need the bracket piece that attaches to the cab that the sail rear slides over.
