Interesting build spotted at Phoenix Fairgrounds swap meet today
My wife and I hit up the swap meet today at the Fairgrounds in Phoenix. We got there by 7am and left about 9:30. Got a nice aluminum grill for my 64 w/ headlight surrounds for $75. Got some stuff for my '55 GMC 150 build too. We saw this NM truck on the way out. Member here?

There's a few posts here with pics of that truck. Don't think the owner is a member.

It was very straight. A lot of work went into that truck.

I seen the same truck at Home Depot one morning and talked to the guy a little bit about his truck. He said he used three trucks and a total of 15 years to complete it. I didnt even think of asking if he was a forum member. But here are the pictures I got.

Wow, really like the way her incorporated step side fenders into the fleetside bed. never seen a 1 ton conversion that looks that period correct. Lots of thought went into that build. Kieth :gmc2:
