Vent window roll pin size
 

Hi,

The vent window handle on my '80 just kind of fell off. I have the spring and other bits and I assume the roll pin just gave out. I don't have the truck with me... ...anyone know what size the roll pin is?

Got a chance to measure the hole and the closest thing was 3/32. However, the 3/32 roll pin went in one side and out the other. However, I also had a 3/32 cotter pin and used this as a temporary fix. Lowes had the cotter pins but not the spirol pins.

Thanks. I think you can buy the whole handle for $20 as well and I seriously considered doing that. I just hate buying a $4 part and then paying that much for shipping, so I was trying to cheap out it bit.

I bought new ones and the roll pins on those keep coming out. I have been meaning to put a drop of locktite on the pin to see of that helps.
