Gas tank cleaner

I found a radiator shop in Fort Worth that will clean , and seal the gas tank for $145.00. I may need mine done. I don't want to go thru the trouble of doing it my self.

A brand new tank from Classic is $144.95 . I had a street rod that the tank had been cleaned and sealed and after a while we believe the ethanol fuel caused the liner to come loose and the chunks of white liner kept stopping up the pick up screen in the tank.

That is what I was thinking too. Are the new tanks sealed? If not then they will start to rust from moister that gets in them. Is that classictruckparts.com ?

A good fuel additive would be "sea foam" it helps keep you fuel from condensating and also keeps the fuel from separating or going "bad". I use it in my fuel and it works great.

How much do you put in each tank full?

You can purchase it at Napa, Autozone or Baxter and even Walmart carries it....it comes in a white can...I think just a little less then a quart. Anyhow one can full treats up to 20+ gallons. :chevy:
