Just picked up from the foundry Friday. Drop off the cover at the machine shop yesterday. I'll have the installed pictures posted asap. Probably a week out. I'm excited too.

I hope these will be marked in some way so people can differentiate these from the originals. It would really suck people buying these and reselling as original 70s parts without telling people.

These will have my last name on the inside and I'm sure many will order with the drain plug. Also these are heavier.

That is good! I have dealt with a lot of expensive stuff that people reproduce and don't marks as reproductions and pass off as original. Not so much in this hobby but other things.

All counted up now between all the posts and other sites looks like 8 are in line for covers so far. Not bad for only 2 1/2 days, but really bad score in surperbowl.

43*11'04.14"N ; 86*17'29.23"W. If you can find any original Hickey Dana 44 covers for less buy them all. Just saw one go for $676 on Ebay. This is a rare part that many want to complete the look of there truck. Also cost to produce each per part is crazy high when your making such a small number of units.
